Selected Art Yarns

Playful spinning engages my full creativity.  I enjoy making yarns with lots of colour, texture and vivaciousness!  My art yarns can be used for expressive knitting, crochet, weaving and other textile projects.

Recognising the different sheep breeds used is important to me when labelling both my art batts and yarns and I frequently include wool from UK priority rare breeds - Whitefaced Woodland (the current rarest) and Soay (the most primative) are special favourites of mine.

My go-to spinning wheel is my trusty Louët S10 called Polly!
